Prior to the roof was ruined inside the 2019 fireplace, it was one of many oldest frameworks in Paris and it is gradually being rebuilt. The sixteen statues on the Apostles and Evangelists, which were staggered within the roof of the cathedral, eerily looking down from over, were spared in the fire and can be replaced in time for that Olympics.
